]]> The Red InnoNews seeks to generate a space of convergence around the study of innovation in news in the digital society, systematically and jointly analysing the contributions that technologies, changes in formats, new narratives and current consumer trends generate in a widely changing scenario.

It has the scientific experience of four leading research groups in this field of research: Gabinete de Comunicación y Educación, of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), the I.T.A.C.A Group of the University Jaume I (UJI), the Novos Medios research group of the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) and the research group Teoría y Tecnología de la Comunicación of the University of Seville (US).

Furthermore, the coordinator of the network is the main researcher of the RTVE -UAB Chair for the innovation of news in the digital society and the UNESCO Chair on Quality Journalism.
