The Master’s Degree in Environmental Communication, organised by the Gabinete de Comunicación y Educación at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, is characterised by offering a set of theoretical-practical contents aimed at communication professionals and other people interested in acquiring the necessary techniques and knowledge to understand, analyse, contextualise, explain and disseminate different phenomena related to the environment.
The Master’s Degree in Environmental Communication seeks to promote environmental literacy and to respond to the current need to address the environmental agenda with solid communication tools that enable the analysis and understanding of different phenomena and problems related to our planet.
The enrolment fee includes a complete trip each year with a different theme and destination based on four main “scenarios”: jungles, deserts, polar territories and large cities. The students will be accompanied by a team of teachers and will carry out the tasks of an environmental communication project in the field, along with workshops and seminars.
A team of expert and highly experienced lecturers made up of journalists, documentary filmmakers, ethnographers, anthropologists, historians, reporters, writers, photographers, doctors, biologists, microbiologists, industrial engineers, food technicians, environmentalists, veterinarians, chemists, among others, will teach and advise you throughout the course.
